Youngstown State University Students hold a Wine-tasting Fund Raising for
Project Learning Around the World.

Students from Youngstown State University, who will be traveling to Knysna, South Africa to hand deliver educational supplies to rural areas, held a wine tasting party at the Magic Tree in Boardman, Ohio. The students made baskets for the auction and held a 50/50 raffle. Over 70 people were in attendance and enjoyed a fun atmosphere. The event was a huge success.

80% of the children in adopted schools have AIDS, TB and many have lost one or both parents to AIDS. Many of the children were homeless. Food is limited and the villagers often cook one pot of porridge for the children, which might be their only meal of the day.

School supplies were also very limited and five children would share one pencil. Each year individuals associated with Project Learning Around the World  gather and hand deliver school supplies, reading books, or small equipment to various South African township schools.

We are looking for monetary contributions to help purchase:
*Reading Books *Crayons *Erasers *Pencils
*Scissors *Hand Calculators *Protractors
*Gym Equipment

All monies donated will go directly to purchasing equipment, textbooks or supplies for rural township schools in South Africa and other developing countries.

Thank-you for your willingness to support this project.

Please make checks payable to Project Learning Around the World or send donated items to:
